I read the above quote today on http://www.hbr.org which was followed up with 'people see warmth and competence as inversely related' and I could not agree more.
You may be tired of having to take responsibility for tasks that others should be doing. You might even feel as if you are the only one who actually follows through on what you promise. But don't be too quick to fix someone else's mistakes today because you could drive everyone nuts with your obsession of an unobtainable perfection. Instead, be flexible enough to honor each person's contribution. Keep in mind that you probably won't be quite as judgmental next week.
